Abstract

This article presents a typology of the future urban based on contemporary posthuman science fiction. Five types of the future urban are described (the technopagan, the anti-human, new human, posthuman and AI) along with their corresponding synchronizing pressure, the sf subgenre classification, thematic overview, and primary mood.
